FRACTIONS FRUSTRATION??! Nope, not us!

We began studying our fractions unit and we all know how difficult fractions can be in the beginning. However, I am ecstatic to say that our class has been comprehending and learning more about fractions each day. Parents, in order to reinforce your child's understanding of fractions, encourage them to name equivalent fractions whenever you get the chance!

There's still a lot of fractions to be dealt with, but don't fear! It will be a breeze if we are focused, attentive and diligently working as we are now!

FIELD TRIP!

Parents, by now everyone has brought in their trip slips and fees. We will be going to Blydenburgh Park in Long Island to learn about the Colonial Period in history. Since it is in April, please keep in mind the weather (rain or shine)- we will be going. Especially if your child has spring/pollen allergies (like I do!! =( ) - please make sure your child takes any medication necessary BEFORE coming to school! Thank you!
